About Jessica
Jessica is a trial lawyer who is passionate about helping people and strives to provide excellent representation to all of her clients. She has been working in the legal field since 2015, gaining a variety of experience from the City Attorney’s Office, the District Attorney’s Office, Private Law Firms, and Public Defense. With this well-rounded knowledge, Jessica is able to navigate complex cases and provide aggressive representation.
As a licensed attorney, she began her practice as a Public Defender at the Hill Country Regional Public Defenders Office. While there she represented hundreds of clients charged with criminal misdemeanor and felony offenses ranging from possession of marijuana to murder. She has tried several jury trials and prides herself in passionate advocacy defending the Constitutional Rights of the accused.
Jessica attended Texas A&M University, Mays Business school where she earned a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Business Management and Pre-Law Studies.
Upon graduation, Jessica attended Texas A&M University School of Law where she was actively involved in the Board of Advocates and Mock Trial all three years. Throughout her law school career she was Mock Trial Chair, competed on Texas A&M’s competition trial team in Chicago, received an Award at the Hofstra National Medical—Legal Mock Trial Competition and advanced to the Semi-Finals. She also received The Order of the Barristers a nationally recognized organization that formally recognizes the best advocates. The award is limited to ten lawyers.
Jessica is a Huntington native who is excited to return home to East Texas and continue her legal practice here in criminal, family law, wills and estate matters. Aside from spending time litigating in the courtroom, Jessica enjoys spending time on Lake Sam Rayburn and being involved with the community.
